What a weekend!

With all this sunshine about, I couldn't resist any longer and went to Malham today with Sarah. Waking up to a frost, the extra gloves, hats and down jacket came too, along with a flask of hot coffee.
We had winter skills training up in Scotland this weekend with the rescue team, so Li'l Pete and I decided to take advantage by going up a day early and getting in a cheeky route on the Ben.
Went for a day trip up to Beinn Udlaidh yesterday with L'il Pete...
Following some concentrated overnight skin growing (thanks Tish!), backed up by a plaster and a few turns of tape, I headed to Bridestones today with Sarah, and met up with Neil and Jon.
I went bouldering today! First time on rock this year and to a venue that is renowned for taking no prisoners. Sure enough, I got my donkey kicked...
Planning another early start to beat the inevitable crowds, I couldn't bring myself to stop hitting the snooze button this morning...
Went up to Shoulthwaite Gill this morning, with the intention of having a look at it and soloing it if it looked reasonable.
Popped in to see Li'l Pete after work this evening...
Tom and Jaquie came up from London on New Years Eve to stay the weekend and enjoy the snow.
