Last weekend we went to the Isle of Man to celebrate Caroline’s birthday…
This week we had a big family gathering in Den Haag for my parent’s Golden Wedding Anniversary.
My parents came for a quick visit this weekend so we decided to do something touristy and visit Sizergh Castle.
The weather this weekend is cold! But unlike the past several weekends that have seen brilliant winter climbing conditions in Scotland there’s a strong wind and almost blizzard conditions prevailing outside right now!
After having spent 9 months in beautiful Romania I finally arrived home a month ago to start in a new position with my old company. The original plan was I would stay a year but there were some changes and I was offered this new position and asked to come home earlier. No matter how much I loved Romania and Bucharest I was happy to return to my family and the doggy friends!!!
… with a very quiet bit in the middle. This year we had the whole family around.

It was a big birthday for Saskia this year, so that called for a big birthday celebration.
