Now is the high season for ski mountaineering in the Canadian Rockies...
Last year Anna and I optimistically booked a ski trip well ahead of any snow forecasts; well the time came and we were lucky with the weather and the snow.
We thought we only had a short day today (we had a meeting at 6pm), so we opted for a ski tour at Contamine.
So what could be better than to go for a Ski at Naksiska down in Kananaskis...
Another day on Cairngorm and the pistes remain in good condition, this time with some friends....
Perfect conditions in Scotland day 1...
Today was Chris's birthday (landlord of Hunters in Cockermouth), so we decided on an away day to Glenshee.

I decided to avoid the Lake District as it was bound to be busy and needed to be fairly local in case I got called out.....
