On the Eve of Christmas Eve…
Langdale was very moody…. Not a soul in sight; no cars at RLH or Rawhead, car parks deserted; not a soul on the fells as we walked over Pike o’ Blisco. Hard ice underfoot and bodes well for maybe some waterfall picking later this week?

Following the previous evening’s excesses, Anna, Sabiene, Andy and Ian scoffed a full English at the local cafe and then tried to walk it off over High Pike and Great Lingy Fell. What a day, cold and crisp with great views. We stopped at the hut for a coffee and chocolates and headed back down.
