Day 2. The housemates are in the lower gorge............
Terry had a plan. It had to be secret, because there is only room for two teams. A quick exchange of texts and we agreed to meet at 9.30-ish. Me and Pete were going to climb Nye Vermorkfoss, and Terry and Bernie were going to climb Bakveien...
The Climbers' Club meet's Cumbrian team arrived in Rjukan, the long journey had an adverse effect on everyone's temperament as you can see...

A visit to Kong Vinter gave us a very interesting day as the temperatures rose and the ice began to crumble.
What trip to Rjukan would be complete without a trip to Krokan: 5 minute walk in downhill!
After a day honing our skiing technique at the local ski area we headed high as the temperatures were rising in the valley.
Saturday and Sunday saw us in the Rjukan lower gorge, and surprisingly virtually on our own.
