When a woman of a certain age hits that certain age, I’m sure she’s supposed to be very mature and responsible. Looks like I missed out on that gene, but I thought I’d dress up to try and look the part.

Pete took me to the Samling for the most fantastic dinner. A real treat.

Greeted with exquisite hors d’oeuvres which included quails eggs, we sipped a g&t in the wood-pannelled lounge while choosing from an amazing menu and an even more amazing wine menu.

It wasn’t cheap, but it was a special occasion.
