So, whilst Andy and Sabiene were being heroic at Aussie-moses, Ian, Anna and Jon decided leading was soooo last year and threw some top ropes down some unlikely looking lines.

Anna utilised a seldom used but effective technique to overcome a series of sparsely iced bulges – the louder she laughed the higher she got!

Ian attempted a line to the left passing through a small cave to reach steep ice. Unfortunately, the previous passing of a monopoint clad me meant that the ‘old skool’ dual pointed Ian rather disappointingly removed the crucial footplacement…

All good fun though and a nice change to jibbering miles above the last dodgy screw!
