I was last in Morocco three years ago, leaving just days before Morocco (followed by most of the world) locked down to fight Covid-19. So three years on, almost to the week, it was absolutely brilliant to get back to this fantastic climbing area.
This time I was climbing with Nigel, and Steve was climbing with Nick. And instead of basing ourselves solely in Tafraout, we split our time with four days in the Hotel Salama in Tafraout, and six days in the Kasbah Tizourgane to be closer to the climbing, reducing our driving times.
