After a visit to the Myrtoon restaurant the gang (Pete, Mal, Ed, Cherrie, Anna, and Tim) enjoyed a short wander on the beach...
Is this the most authentic Greek Taverna one can imagine? High in hills between Poulithra and Fokiano, Kateika, hosts this single room traditional eating house. Recommended! Somehow they managed to cater for our large group (L to R: Anne, Mal, Ed's light blue jumper can just been seen right of Mal - he's ordering for us all, Graham, Tim, Neil, Greg, Pete [no, you are not seeing double, that's a pano-stitch-glitch, Ben, Pete, and Cherrie) on a random weekday evening when we arrived unannounced after climbing at Hideout...
Graham enjoying the climbing Agios Andreas
Cherrie and Pete (Tim had gone for a walk way way off and up to right!) after our last climb of the trip at the marvellous St Nicholas gorge.
Ed celebrating the local honey farmer PAVLOS TSAKONIKO with Tim, Cherrie, and Pete ... we bought quite a few jars (esp. Tim!)

Yet another trip to Leonidio … I guess I must like the place? 😀
This time I went with an extended gang of Kendalian climbers (Tim, Cherrie, Graham, Pete and his son Ben who joined us for a few days, Neil, and Greg). We met up with Ed, who had already been in Leonidio for nearly five weeks (no wonder he climbs so well!); plus Ed’s daughter, son-in-law, and grand son (Hanna, Kubo, and Oli) were there too; then there was Mal and Anne also from Kendal, stopping in Leonidio at the mid-point of an long Greek trip; there were also another couple of gangs (inc. Richard, Jo, Steve, Jenny, David, and Naomi) from the Sheffield area in town for almost the exact same week. All in all a pretty massive group! Especially when we were joined by the local Spartan ex-pats Andy and Chegs!!
Here a few pictures of the gang, mostly out eating!
