Celebrating the accord between the Climbers' Club and the Wayfarers' Club that allows both clubs to share huts, a joint meet is held each year alternating between the Lakes and Wales.
Well Kats, Needless to say, it snowed on the night of our early morning departure! Here you see us at 5am hopelessly snowed in, awaiting the snow plough.

Anna, Ian, Andy and Sabiene spent Sunday on Blencathra, and a trip up Hall's Fell Ridge.
Dave finally got his second trip and training session in one of the RAF Sea King helicopters. It had taken 7 attempts to get a RAF helicopter to the Kirkby Stephen Mountain Rescue Team's base.
We went down Giants Hole at the weekend when it was slightly wet!!!! Water was gushing everywhere, great fun!
The weather relented (slightly) on Sunday, and Anna, Ian, Andy, Pete and Sarah dragged themselves out of bed (unlike Sabiene) for a round of the tops behind Braithwaite.
Two colds, one hangover, two gammy knees, one bust finger, one bad hip, one dodgy toe, and lots of rain....
After some wintry showers, I decided to take the skis for a bit of a slide around the the tops of the fells in the far north of the Lakes.
