Cascade ice-fall climbing at Ouray’s ice park and beyond. There’s an awesome array of natural ice climbs a short distance from Ouray. But only a very short walk out of town it’s the climbs in the Ouray ice park itself that are undoubtedly the reason Ouray is an international ice climbing destination. These climbs are created from ingenious man made water sprayers feeding a perfectly regulated supply of water down the cliffs that line the gorge during the frozen months. A simply brilliant idea!
