Saturday saw Ian, Anna, Andy and Sabiene at Arthur’s in Kinlochleven, for a social visit, a hill walk and the Ice Factor. Our Saturday hill walk took us over a couple of the lower hills close to Kinlochleven: Beinn na Caillich and Mam na Gualainn, 764m and 796m. Not even Munros!! But starting from near sea-level, they still entailed about 900m of accent. A 7 hour day. It must have done us good. Even the sun came out, and with these days of biblical rain, it was most welcome.
