Cromhall Dive

As the weather had destroyed any chance of getting any interesting caving done over the weekend myself and Andy headed off to a flooded quarry in Cromhall, Gloucestershire. The aim was to test some kit configurations for use on holiday and also test some recently serviced equipment. All the kit worked well. My new configuration provided great joy for Andy as I struggled for some time to put everything together whilst he looked over my shoulder at a pair of twenty something girls wearing nothing but underwear playing about in the car park behind me. (There is now a new player on the git list.) Once everything was together we went for a quick swim to check trim and buoyancy which proved to be good. We exited quickly as we were both wearing full cold water kit in 20 degree water and it was getting a little warm.

  1. Ooh, almost looks just like your gravitar.
Looks like an excellent trip, much clearer than a cave, at least a cave in the UK.
Couldn’t you persuade the girls to go for a swim?

  2. Pete. Yes that is Andy (Rach please take note) and it’s the same camera with the same waterproof case.

Tish. But that would mean actually talking to girls 😮

  3. I can confirm that Andrew does exist, and that he is also very sensitive!! 😀
Amongst other things that confirm his existence is the fact that he told me Colin’s “other” nickname, “Silt Puppy“! 😈
