A Short Walk in the Northern Fells

For what feels like the first time in living memory I actually went on a walk this week. The AW Fellwalkers are out whatever the weather and this time I ignored the rain and went along to Braithwaite. Only a dozen hardy souls turned out. The weather improved!

Bass Lake & Skiddaw Dodd

There were views below the cloud and everything looks very green:

  1. Dodd is the little hill between Bass lake and Skiddaw – for great views you go from the tea room at Dodd Wood up the hill to the top. Not far but worth it.
