With the weather still looking great, Anna and I joined Chris, Christine, and Paula at her pub, the Royal Oak in Braithwaite for a bit of a wander up the hills behind. paula is a bit of a novice, and this was her first trip up Sail and Causey Pike; but what a great day to choose!

What a great day with superb weather and views. I can’t think of what to write to do it justice. Let’s hope it lasts a lot longer (into feb, 2017)

I got very severe ice-cream head today
All the pain and none of the pleasure. Oh well, mince pies when we got home made me feel better.
I think we need to get the web master to create a fat smiley now!
let’s hope we get some more of these superb days out – it seems like ages since we had a proper winter.
