Back up Blencathra this morning, felt okay, but up in 44 so still slow. Pretty blowy, but probably helped as much as it hindered. Good sunny spells in between the cloud dropping onto the summit.

Sharp Edge from Souther Fell, looking down the Glenderamackin valley
Managed to throw in the ridge and back, Bannerdale Crags and Souther Fell as well though, so eeked out the distance a bit which is all good.

Great shot of Sharp Edge – it looks sharp!
This is getting serious!
Serious? No. I’m just trying to minimise the inevitable discomfort! It felt reasonably good to keep going today though, so I might just keep plodding on for a bit.
I see you and Richard have an early start down south? I didn’t realise you were doing the ‘A’ too, so can you break a nice wide trail for the rest of us?!
See you near the green tent left of the green tent like last year?
perhaps you should take me training for my trail run next month??
Certainly. You can carry me! It’s all good training…
