Contamine – Cloudy Skiing

As a warm up for what should be a week of ski touring Ian, Chris, and I headed up on to the pistes at Les Contamine. Ian and Chris had already had a day skiing, but I needed a few runs to help remind the legs what do with skis attached! The plan had been to then head out for the tour via Col de la Cicle. However, the cloud was impenetrable and we decided it would be at best not much fun and at worst dangerous, so the decision was to stick with the pistes…
