It's been two and half years since I'd been caving, and I wasn't sure if my over suit still fitted, but Sunday 11th was the date we had a permit to do Notts Pot, courtesy of WMCEG.
Kath completed the 23rd 14 mile Dentdale run in a very reasonable time of 2 hrs 17 minutes 12 seconds, considering that she was recovering from a severe cold.
You really shouldn't see trains in this position...
Dave took Kath caving... well, sort of. Along the River Eden north of Little Salkeld are some sandstone caves [to] visit.
Well, Pete & Tish, Anna & Ian may have been in Chamonix but it was one of the finest week ends of Lake District weather for a long time.
Anna, Ian, Andy and Sabiene spent Sunday on Blencathra, and a trip up Hall's Fell Ridge.
