After getting back from the Alps our friends from Karlsruhe cam to stay for a few days. The weather wasn’t perfect (we had a bit of rain), but we got out a fair bit with them and enjoyed a wide range of Lakeland adventuring – canoeing, scrambling, climbing, walking, exploring the slate mines, etc! We even managed to squeeze in a BBQ in the back yard despite the rain…
